The company has been managed for six generations by the family members and offspring of the founder and namesake Wilhelm Karrenberg. In 1989, following the sudden death of his father-in-law, Friedrich Karrenberg, Wolfgang K. Schlieper was appointed as the managing partner. His son, Robert Schlieper, carries on the family tradition in his wake.

Cylinder
Lock cylinders are required in a wide range of different versions and for a variety of uses. From the simple standard profile cylinder to the perfectly equipped high-security cylinder, WILKA products meet the demands placed on them. Lock and key system or single key lock, the WILKA product range fulfils the market’s many diverse needs and safety requirements. There are solutions available for a large number of locking questions in both the private domain and commercial properties as well as for administrative and industrial structures.
Lockcase
Different door situations demand specific locks. Among other things, we offer complete solutions for single and double-leaf escape door systems in accordance with current standards, tubular frame or wooden door locks. Functional safety, quality and service are a prime objective. The following pages offer an accurate overview of the various locks for wooden doors, tubular frame doors and their accessories.
Anti Panic System
The standard-compliant implementations of the harmonized European standards in the escape route area EN 179/EN 1125 also include hardware that must be tested with together with the escape route products as an overall locking system. WILKA has integrated hardware by many door hardware manufacturers into its own systems by carrying out extensive tests. When working on properties, this ensures plenty of freedom in the hardware available. Various lever handle solutions are supplied from stock on request for the EN 179 sector and various panic bars and push bars for the EN 1125 sector.
